Marcos Xylon GT - chassis #1003 - G128

The Marcos Xylon GT G128 chassis #1003 was ordered from Marcos by Barry Filer in 1961 and driven by Jackie Stewart on his behalf in club races in Northern England during 1961 and 1962.

Jim Diggory continued to campaign the car in the early 1960s.
In 1969, Jem Marsh discovered the car in a London mews near Chris Lawrence's workshop and purchased it for £250.

Marsh meticulously restored the Xylon in the late 1970s before embarking on a highly successful racing career in HSCC events, amassing over 100 trophies and securing three major championships.
